I am very excited to feature one of my good friends, Amy Jennings! I really wanted to share with you Amy’s luxe for less tips regarding accessories. She is known for having the most fashionably fabulous statement pieces that look designer and totally luxe worthy. Amy checks a few websites daily, either by signing up for email notfications or checking her Iphone Apps, on sites such as RetailMeNot.com, Deal News, JCrew Factory, and Ebay. Her secret, PROMO CODES, which is something that is uncharted territory for most luxe for less gals. Most of us may sign up for email notifications from our favorite stores where they may send us an additional 20% of PROMO CODE once and a while. However, Amy shared with me that PROMO CODES are always available, you just have to find them and enter them into your “shopping cart” before checking out.
You can find promo codes on the websites I mentioned above, or simply by searching the designer and promo code in your search engine. You will be surprised how many codes come up which means more money in our luxe for less pockets!
Amy has the JCREW necklace above, which she purchased on EBAY in black, for under $30. This is one of JCREW’s most popular styles and every girl must own at LEAST one for her wardrobe. This piece retails for $150 (too pricy!)
Amy has a great approach to jewelry shopping. She is inspired by her favorite designers and watches what is on trend, however, she knows when she buys it on EBAY it may or may not be the actual designer. She is buying it for the look, and knowing that it looks EXACTLY like the real thing, but hundreds of dollars less.
I love the bold colors in this necklace, especially the big chunky coral gems intermixed with the dainty tiffany blue flowers. This necklace is PERFECT for summer and an amazing deal! Amy purchased this on JCREW Factory for $52!
This Bumble Bee Necklace is Kate Spade, Amy purchased this on EBAY in orange. I am in LOVE with the rhinestone bumble bee sitting on the flower, perfect for summer! I just checked and there is one on sale for $49 and retails for $198 on KateSpade.com
I am in LOVE with this bracelet, with the jewel encrusted look which goes with every color for every season. Amy has this bracelet which she stacks with other gold bracelets. This makes her wrist look like a party at all times! This piece is on sale for $34 at JCREW Factory!
